* COVID-19 UPDATE 14th November 2020 *
For the safety of our staff and clients we kindly remind everyone to wear their appropriate face covering when coming to your appointment. It is now mandatory to wear these and we do not want to put anyone's health and safety at risk or to receive an unnecessary fine. Thank you
Please refer to our Facebook page for more information on what face covering are appropriate.
We are considered an essential service
Melton Veterinary Clinic is taking many steps to protect the health and welfare of clients, staff and animals during this unprecedented time. We have increased the level of cleaning across the clinic to further promote the safety.
If COVID case numbers continue to decline and restrictions continue to be lifted, we aim to allow ONE person per pet into the clinic AFTER 23rd November. Please continue to confirm your appointments and call the clinic when you arrive for your appointment. You can continue to wait outside or in your vehicle if you wish. HOWEVER, due to limited space in our waiting area, we will only be able to allow
3 people at a time into the clinic at this stage.
~ We ask that clients still continue to call the clinic for all medication and food orders and payment be made via CARD limiting cash when possible. Clients are to call the clinic 97434413 when collecting these so one of our nurses can hand you your items through your vehicle's window limiting the number of clients in our waiting area
~Please note there is a ONE PERSON rule. Strictly no CHILDREN are to enter the clinic. Please ensure that you wear your face covering at ll times and you are required to wear them and maintain a 2m social distance from all staff at all times. You will be required to sign our visitor contact log on arrival if you are not listed on our computer system
DO NOT attend the clinic if:
- you are experiencing a cough, cold, fever or flu like symptoms
- you have tested positive for COVID-19
- you have been in contact with a person who has tested positive to COVID-19
- you have returned from overseas in the last 14 days.
Please consider rescheduling your appointment or asking a family member to bring in your animal on your behalf if you are unwell.
We thank you for your patience and understanding during these uncertain times. We are tyring our hardest to ensure we can stay safe and open so your fur family can be taken care of. Unfortunately these matters are our of our control and we encourage everyone to keep checking our social media pages for further updates, as these circumstances may change at any time.
Thank you, Melton Vet Clinic Team.
Abuse of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes Phone conversations and Face-to-face interactions. We are all in this together so please help us so we can continue to help you.
