We are considered an essential service
Melton Veterinary Clinic is taking many steps to protect the health and welfare of clients, staff and animals during this unprecedented time. We have increased the level of cleaning across the clinic to further promote the safety.
To maintain the safety of our staff and clients, we have developed the following strict measures in accordance with AVA recommendations, so we can remain operational for as long as possible:
~ A strict appointment only schedule is in place and we will no longer be accepting walk in patients.
~ Strictly NO clients are to enter the clinic. OUR DOORS ARE LOCKED. Clients are asked to call the clinic on 97434413 when you have arrived and wait in your vehicle for further instructions. One of our nurses will come to your vehicle and escort your animal into the clinic whilst you remain in your vehicle. One of our vets will call you from the clinic to discuss your pets care and treatments. DO NOT DRIVE AWAY OR LEAVE YOUR CAR. Additional charges may apply if you leave your pet with our staff without prior permission or consent forms signed.
~ We ask that clients call the clinic for all medication and food orders and payment be made via phone limiting cash when possible. Clients are to call the clinic 97434413 when collecting these so one of our nurses can hand you your items through your vehicle's window.
~ If you are to enter the clinic for an agreed reason, please note there is a ONE PERSON rule. Strictly no CHILDREN are to enter the clinic. You will be given a mask and gloves to put on and you are required to wear them and maintain a 2m social distance from all staff at all times.
DO NOT attend the clinic if:
- you are experiencing a cough, cold, fever or flu like symptoms
- you have tested positive for COVID-19
- you have been in contact with a person who has tested positive to COVID-19
- you have returned from overseas in the last 14 days.
Please consider rescheduling your appointment or asking a family member to bring in your animal on your behalf if you are unwell.
We thank you for your patience and understanding during these uncertain times. We are tyring our hardest to ensure we can stay safe and open so your fur family can be taken care of. Unfortunately these matters are our of our control and we encourage everyone to keep checking our social media pages for further updates, as these circumstances may change at any time.
